I haven’t done one of these in a while and I thought it might be fun to share some of my vintage sheet hoard.  I have been collecting and using vintage sheets throughout my home and in my sewing for many years now, but recently I have been unable to cut anything.  I don’t know what it is about these treasures.  I have great (and plentiful!) ideas for all these patterns, it’s just a lack of will to change them from their current state.  I’m hoping to change that soon. 

Even though my little girl is easily a good year away from moving into a “big girl” bed and room update I am finding myself drawn to those large panel patchwork quilts made from old sheets.

Maybe I will get my nerve up soon to take the plunge…with the scissors that is!
